Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers has provided an important injury update regarding the wrist he fractured a month ago in the Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Preparing for the Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions, Rodgers shared some insight on the status of his left wrist fracture, revealing that he isn't quite fully recovered from the setback despite beginning to practice without a brace.
"It's still not 100%," Rodgers said via ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "I've been having battles with the training staff — happy battles, not knock-down drag-out battles — trying to feel more normal. To go through practice today without anything on my wrist, I'm still not without some pain with certain movements. But I'm trying to get the strength back in all those little muscles that have been unused for a number of weeks. It's a work in progress."
Over the past two weeks, Rodgers has thrown for 508 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions, while completing at least 65% of his passes.
It remains to be seen if Rodgers can suit up against the Lions in Week 16 without a brace on his wrist, but the future Hall of Famer has looked phenomenal as ever even if he's not at 100%.
